These pages are dedicated to all ‘amateur’ movie makers in the South East region of the United Kingdom (South of the Thames and into Kent, Surrey, Sussex - and the Channel Islands).  In this context, ‘amateur’ movies refers to those made for non-commercial reasons, and not to their quality!  For proof of that - come along to any of the many Film Festivals held within the region throughout the year:  you may be surprised at the inventiveness, creativity and skills of our ‘local’ film-makers!

We strongly recommend of course that all movie makers join the IAC (The Film & Video Institute), of which SERIAC is a part: the benefits are many, not least of which is the ability to use copyright and Royalty protected music for private  shows.  For more information contact the IAC web-site by clicking here.
